I have this odd problem that if I start up in text mode and login and startx all is ok.
Yet when I get to the graphical login screen it will not allow me to type any password or user in to the boxes.
I have reinstalled kdm etc to no avail.
Any ideas greatly appreciated, i can login using runlevel 2 but for my partner it is too hard to use a non-graphical login.
