Greetings.
Can anyone help with an Amarok problem? I dist-upgraded Kanotix 2006-1 RC4 to the Debian Etch repository following the directions re public keys etc. in the Kanotix FAQ. Everything seems to work except Amarok which tries to start but stops after its splash screen.
I also tried apt-get remove -- purge amarok and re-installed it with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

maybe rename the amarok configfiles.

Hmm. Went to /var/lib/dpkg/info/amarok.conffiles in Konqueror in super user mode but I am not sure whether this is the correct file or waht to rename it.
