hi,
I have a problem when kde starts. In the kde starting sequence, when the icons are blinking, first the wheel, then the hard disks {services } , it stays in the service icon, blinking, and then it doesnt show the kde desktop, just the penguins and kanotix logo.
Apparently you can use twm when the desktop is in such state. Or you can start icewm , instead.
THUS when the computer hasn-t fullfilled the kde starting sequence, and I am in icewm or in the penguins, and I start a kdeconsole or a www browser, I realize that the keyboard layout is english, instead of spanish.
So , WHERE could I set the spanish keyboard in X11 ?
it is a real pain, since the right keyboard layout RELIES TOO MUCH ON a correct kde start, no kde no spanish keyboard!!!!
