My vmware images are running very slow. During my searches, I found a post about the speed of the processor slowing in sleep mode and vm running the at the reduced rate. The complete post is in the attached file.

Thorhammer RC7? Also tell me where grub.conf is.

You can add the clock option if you want.

There is no grub.conf, usually thats only a symlink to /boot/grub/menu.lst .
