Hi
Da ich mal mmeinen Desktop aufpeppen wollte (möchte), habe ich compiz installiert.
Leider übernimmt der desktop die Änderungen nicht.
googl spuckt nur aus das man den fglrx Treiber neu installieren soll. Dieses blieb bei mir allerdings ohne Ergebnis.

hier ist mal ein Bericht:

Hast es wie unter

!compiz

beschrieben installiert? Normalerweise nimmst dann einfach das Compiz Fusion Icon (musst aber dort nochmal Compiz auswählen).

irgendwie findet der diesen Grafik treiber net! Dasproblem tritt wohl häufig bei ATI karten auf Traurig

Wenn er korrekt per Script installiert wurde funktioniert es meistens. Hab ich aber scho ne zeitlang nicht mehr mit ATI und lenny probiert. Compiz hat durchaus nervige nachteile, genauso wie KDE 4 composite. Am nervigsten ist, dass vnc dann nicht mehr korrekt funktioniert.

Mit KDE3,5 kann man ja auch schon ein bisschen Stylen. Kann man über das normale KDE Menü eigentlich auch widgets laufen lassen (also ich dachte an ein Systemmonitorauf dem Desktop) ?

Das was führer superkaramba nachgerüstet hat ist in KDE4 drin.

Kann man KDE 3,5 einfach runterschmeissen und KDE4 Installieren?
