I'm still happily pleased with my Kanotix operating system for 64 bits with KDE 3.5.10 desktop. I haven't had any problems until the past month or so. When I do an apt-get update, I get a few "301 Moved Permanently' outputs in terminal:

I found a relevant thread in the main forum, but did not understand the translation concerning IRC.. Do I need to update or change my sources.list?

acritox moved his server, but stated in the thread you mentioned above, that there are no relevant things to be found there for kanotix...and you could remove the acritox-entries from /etc/apt/sources.list.
