Hi,

habe eine Platte (sdb) mit installierten W7 und Kanotix von einem anderen PC in meinem PC eingebaut. Partitionen werden alle erkannt, nur windows (sdb1) wird mit update-grub nicht erkannt. Der bootloader wurde in den mbr von sdb installiert.

Wie muss ich vorgehen, dass die grub.cfg für sda entsprechend geändert wird?

Wenn update-grub W7 nicht findet, dann wart der Bootloader nie auf der Platte sondern auf einer anderen. Das passiert gern, wenn man Win installiert aber auf ner anderen Platte noch Platz für ne Primäre Partition ist. Idealerweise installiert man Win immer nur dann, wenn exakt 1 Platte angeschlossen ist. Du kannst auch mal alle anderen abklemmen und den Recovery mode von W7 nehmen. Das sollte schon gehen, zur not macht mans halt manuell.

Kano, wenn ich von der HD mit Win, aus dem dort auch installierten hellfire ein:

ausführe, da in dieser grub.conf noch win7 gelistet ist <siehe ^Zitat 1> könnte ich damit nicht eine Reparatur ausführen?

Müsste halt nur aufpassen, da die hellfire-Installation die Reihenfolge der HD's anders ist.

Du hast nicht verstanden, was ich geschrieben hab, auf der Platte ist NICHT der Bootloader!
