I've searched the forums but couldn't find an answer to my question:
Why is the 64bit version called "Lite". Does it come with less software than the 32bit ro does it mean something else?

Both 32 and 64 bit versions have normal and lite versions. The lite is missing some large software, the most significant piece of software that is missing is OpenOffice.org. If you decide to install to hard drive, you can always install what you need using apt-get.
