Networking - samba configuration does not save settings!!!!

Titel: samba configuration does not save settings!!!!
Hi all!
Samba confiuration has to be run every time I reboot.It does not save the setting.It is the only problem I have with kanotix 2006 RC4 x86_64.Any help would be appreciated.

Try in a terminal as root

unfreeze-rc.d
samba
freeze-rc.d

or

K-menu > Control Center > Kanotix > Boot (log in as Admin) > Freeze > Uncheck "Freeze Services" hit apply > Services > Under Disabled Services, click on "samba", click on the < button to switch it to Active Service's, then go back to > Freeze > Check "Freeze Services" hit apply close
