Habe gestern Rc4 installiert und habe ein merkwürdige Probleme. Ich hoffe daß mir jemand unter die Arme greifen kann Weinen
Hardware: HP Compaq nx6325 Notebook
AMD Sempron 3500
rt2500 Wlan Karte

Nach der Installation lief zunächst alles Problemlos Netzwerkkarte wurde erkannt und eingebunden. Habe sie dann mit dem RT2500 Konfigurationstool eingerichtet. So weit so gut.
Nach dem nächsten booten blieb die Karte ohne Funktion und wird vom RT2500 Tool nicht mehr gefunden. "Device not found! check (rt2xx00.conf)"

Verwende den Standartkernel, hab aber auch schon den 2.6.17.8-slh-smp-1 versucht - ohne Erfolg.

Nur um einen etwaigen Hardwaredefekt auszuschließen: Funktioniert das WLAN, wenn du mit der Kanotix-CD bootest?

Manchmal ja, manchmal nein. Hab das ganze mit Ubuntu ausprobiert, da gings immer! Hab aber festgestellt, daß es ein noch weitaus größeres Problem mit meinem Notebook gibt! Durch einen Fehler im Bios läuft der Lüfter im Akkubetrieb nicht. Werde das Teil zurückgeben!

Schade, dass das NB nicht richtig läuft. Preislich scheint es sehr attraktiv zu sein.

Es liegt daran, dass im Debian paket rt2500 das device in ethX umgeannt wird und das Tool nur nach raX sucht. Mit ndiswrapper läuft es aber eh besser, auch mit 64 bit. Dann geht nämlich WPA mit wpa_supplicant, wie es sich gehört. Ich hatte auch mal so ne rt2500 cardbus karte, ist aber wegen Hardware defekt im Mülleimer gelandet.
