I love it, i've loaded it on two desktops without any problems, (xp left me high and dry.. i will never go back...!!!!) i've got an averatec 5500 laptop, amd sempron, wlan, and all the other stuff. i had it working but could not use the net each time i tryed to config the card it locks up? now it will not even boot? any ideas????

If the HD isnt booting .it maybe grub. pop in the live CD the click on the fish menu>kanotix installer.. the choose Recovery tools follow the default promtps, should be good to go.. regarding the netcardconfig.. if its a pcmcia card , try this
pcmcia ?
take it out
and insert it again
then restart x or reboot
THEN
ifconfig -a |grep network
ifconfig -a |grep -i ethernet
netcardconfig
