Post subject: Synaptic Package Manager Terminal Text Corrupted ?

I have this strange thing that the text when the terminal option is opened in Synaptic while of after a software update etc is just a mess not readable text. Tried reinstalling Synaptic but still the same,
Any ideas ?

I see you have it already, but for others reading this thread,
