Ich überlege, die Schnittstellen meines Thinkpads mit einer PCMCIA-Karte zu erweitern, besonders wichtig sind dabei Netzwerk und IEEE 1394. Dazu habe ich eine Karte gefunden, die auch noch USB 2.0 anbietet:

Hat jemand Erfahrung mit so einer Karte unter Linux? Gibt's billigere Karten nur mit Netzwerk und IEEE 1394?

Statt Netzwerk- hat das Thinkpad einen Modemanschluß, kann man den mit einem Adapter in einen Netzwerk-Anschluß umwandeln?
