Hallo,
früher konnte ich mit XP auf meinem Laptop eine Auflösung von 1920x1200 einstellen.
Jetzt komme ich auf max. 1600x1200 und das Bild ist irgendwie verzogen und beim Scrollen ruckt es auch.
Evt. ist da ein Treiber nicht sauber installiert. Wie finde ich das heraus.
Hier noch die Angaben von der Grafikkarte:
Videocard Intel Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller

xorg 7.1 bringt verbesserungen für intel karten.
falls du das schon hast, lies mal über 915resolution. das unterstützt auflösungen, die das bios default nicht vorsieht.

Hallo,
habe mit meinen Versuchen das System abgeschossen.
Habe mir jetzt RC3 installiert. Aber auch hier kann ich meine Auflösung von 1920x1200 nicht aktivieren.
Was mache ich falsch ??

Hallo,
das bringe ich jetzt nicht fertig. Habe mein Kanotix schon wieder abgeschossen.
Ich muss mich wohl mit dieser Auflösung abfinden.

Hast du schon versucht, den Modus "1920x1200" in der o.g. Zeile aus xorg.conf hinzuzufügen? Momentan ist für Farbtiefe 24bit maximal 1600x1200 eingestellt.
P.S.: Mach die Experimente doch mit der LiveCD mit fromiso und unionfs. |

Hallo,
werde ich machen.!!??? Ich dachte mir nicht viel dabei und wie man sieht, ist schnell was passiert. Aber wenigstens habe ich gesehen was ich falsch gemacht habe.

| Die geänderte xorg.conf wird eingelesen, wenn du den X-Server mit der Tastenkombination Strg+Alt+Backspace neu startest; das geht auch mit der LiveCD. |

bin wieder am testen, aber leider ohne Erfolg. Ich weis aber nicht ob dieses hier gestartet ist (915resolution) geändert habe ich es auf jeden Fall siehe unten.

Hallo,
mir ist jetzt noch was aufgefallen, ich kann die Open GL Bildschirmschoner im Kontrollzentrum nicht benutzen. Alle anderen gehen i/o.
Scheint mir doch das irgend ein Treiber nicht sauber installiert ist.
Habe nochmals alles installiert und auf den neusten Stand gebracht.
