Ok this is just something that is annoying. The volume control on my Dell 9100 Laptop controls the first slider (Master)but no actual volume control happens, the next two sliders actually control the volume (master Mono, Headphone)).
Can I change Kmix configuration to fix this or do i need to do something else like a different keyboard file ?
thanks for any help. |

yes, just select which channels [sliders] you want to show or not show, I only show one, the master.
I think there may be some setup error though, the master one should control the master sound level. Hard to say with dells though. |

Thanks for the reply not quite what i wanted, may be there is a config file for the kmix or alsa mixer that I might change or a keyboard mapping. I'll keep looking. |
