| Bekam heif Fotos vom iphone. Leider öffnete kein Grafikprogramm, auch nicht Gwenview, diese Files. Die Lösung war shotwell nachzuinstallieren, damit ging es problemlos. |

| mit XnView (MP) wurden die heic fotos auch angezeigt. |

Frage: konnte man mit normalem GIMP auch öffnen - um es danach in *.jpg zu
exportieren oder fehlte ein zusätzlicher install ?

bei ubuntu-forum steht nur: # apt-get install libheif-examples
oder einfach: # apt-cache policy heif-gdk-pixbuf
.
habe hier keine *.heif" oder "heic"-bild-Dateien zum test

| scheint mit Gimp ab 3.0 zu gehen. Ich hab hier nur das 2.10. Damit geht es nicht. Auch das libheif-dev Paket brachte nichts. |

Konnte mit einem Towelfire Live Stick heic Bilder out of the box öffnen. Dort ist Gimp 3.0.2 enthalten.  |
