Hi, ich habe aus Interesse compiz mit Kano´s Script installiert (GraKa ATI Radeon 9800 Pro). Ich war einfach neugierig, auch wenn mir klar ist, dass diese Aktion wohl kaum Balsam für mein System ist, allerdings hat mich nun der Ehrgeiz gepackt und ich würde gerne das einzige Problem, das in diesem Zusammenhang steht, beheben.
fireglcontrol benachrichtigt mich über folgenden Fehler:

Panel components will operate only partially.
fglrxinfo meint dazu:

In der xorg.conf habe ich standardmäßig diesen Eintrag:

Hat jemand ein Tipp für mich? Erstaunlicherweise ist das nämlich das einzige Problem, außer der Belegung der Multifunktionstasten, das bis jetzt aufgetreten ist, aber vielleicht rächt sich Kanotix noch einmal für meine Unvernunft.

Kann es sein, dass du Compiz nimmst? Dann kanns nicht gehen.
Ja, ich verwende Compiz, warum schließt sich das aus? Liegt es am Treiber?

Nein, du testest den Xgl Server, da du nicht auf den echten Xorg Server kommst, den musst schon deaktivieren mit
install-compiz.sh -d
Dann kommst du erst an die Einstellmöglichkeiten, die dir der Treiber bietet. Ist bei Nvidia auch ned anders. |
