Josk, is it possible to center the "Kanotix" on the widescreen version of the bleedingedge picture? IMHO that would look better, not so overweight at the right side. Played a little around with your pictures, hope you don't mind.

But it is ADOBE Photoshop, is not it? Are there any freeware versions of it? Which version did you use exactly. I am also looking for a program to make complex graphics. |

There is no freeware versions available. I use mainly photoshop CSS2. |

I'm happily using an Eizo FlexScan S2410, 24", 1920x1200 
It was a good thought to right align the "Kanotix" writing because of space for icons, but it looks smoother centered, thanks. Maybe to get both, smooth look and space for icons, a version with a shrunk writing (which leaves enough space at both sides) would help. |
