i'm trying to install RC6 to a clean hard drive, but once the PC reboots it hangs at the GRUB loader.
i might be doing something wrong with the partitioning or something, any ideas? |

| Did you check the installation CD for errors? Use

md5sum -b /dev/cdrom
to calculate a checksum. If md5sum returns a correct result, the problem could be caused by the hard drive. Please post the output of
